Regular readers will have noticed a sharp decline in updates (as in none) lately. It’s a summer thing; as weather gets nicer the urge to wile away my free time in front of a computer tends to vanish. I’d rather get out and actually enjoy the weather while it’s nice.
I’ll be home to the folks’ farm for the long weekend, and then a couple weeks after that I’ll be heading with them into Alberta for a wedding around the Peace River area. Never been north of Edmonton so it ought to be nifty. I hear it’s very beautiful up there so my camera might actually get some use for a change. I like photography but it’s never been an ambition to excel at picture taking.
After I get back from all that, hopefully the writing bug will bite again. I’m sure it will. I can never ditch this for long…

I took a few on Canada Day weekend but now need to find some time to poke around and play with them. I let my flickr account lapse so I probably should renew that and add to it. I’ve taken some that I think I could pay to enlarge and frame for my apartment, too.
