Since Christmas is less than three months away…

It’s time to start thinking about how to celebrate it.

I just discovered a book that makes me wish I had kids — The Dinosaurs’ Night Before Christmas by Anne Muecke.

Not only do you get the book, but a CD comes with it, with the story narrated by Al Roker (not the thrill) and several dinosaur related carols you can sing to replace some old Christian standards and other classics. The book also includes the lyrics so you can sing along to merry tunes like, Hey Duckbills (jingle bells), Hark! The Pterodactyls Sing, The Allosaurus Chorus (tune of Hallelujah), and Deck the Halls with Stegosaurus.

All the tunes are from the “award winning album Dinosaur Holiday, produced by Museum Music with the American Museum of Natural History,” according to the book info provided inside. Google Books has the lyrics if you want to have a preview and get into the Santasaurus Christmas spirit early!
