I never would have dreamed this was a concern.
Hamburger conspiracy. Yes. Someone searched for that and wound up with me. I get why; I have a link to a photo of a baby dressed like a hamburger and I’ve written about conspiracies before. But still. Why look for hamburger conspiracies in particular? What’s the concern in this case, secret sauce espionage?
I did find a page at Giant Bomb about hamburgers, including history of them and the number of video games that include burgers in some way, shape or form. 184 games, apparently. Not many in terms of the sheer number of games available, but still. That seems like a lot. People must really love burgers.
I see the list includes a favourite of mine, Katamari Damacy, a game by which a little prince has to roll up as many things on Earth as he can to rebuild the stars his father the king lost. Early stages require rolling the katamari over objects like tacks and erasers and other household objects that will stick to it and get it to a specified size under a time limit. Later levels allow for larger katamaris that can pick up people and bears and street lights and fences and the like. It’s incredibly silly, which is what I like about it.
